They have to turn rotors on vehicle. Price was very reasonable at dealer. I had done with timing belt and water pump and total was about $700 a couple years ago. Have to take front end apart on passenger side to do timing belt, so its worth it. But my dealer completely details vehicle and returns it spotless, thats a $100-200 value .

You dont want to know what new rotors cost at dealer. That was what I asked for at first or they told me worst case or something. They didnt even stock the part.
I dont even remember really, I blocked it from memory it was so traumatic.
It was hundreds per rotor. Hub has to be pulled.

Mine developed warpage driving in colorado mountains. And I did best not to ride brakes.

If I am wrong let me know other possible causes. Curious.
It doesn't have to be the O2 sensor. P430 can also a low efficiency in the last cat. This isn't too uncommon. The only way, if this is the case, is to change out the cat before the last sensor.

I have this very problem on my 06 Fusion. To fix it, I have to change the cat out. The problem with this system on the Fusion, is that the whole front manifold is the cat in this case. I have to change out the manifold to correct this one. A new one is at least 265. from Amazon or RAuto. I had a friend pull one from a 2010 with 65k on the clock, and will use that when it quits raining and I am finished with the F150. Since it is exhaust, most wrecking yards won't sell the parts. Something to do with Federal law.

Oh well. Code popped (haven't scanned but probably still 430) again today. Time to track down other possibilities before dropping $$ on cat
