Default Supercrew Toolbox

I am looking for a bed toolbox for my 2003 f150 supercrew. I found a good deal online. The ad says the box fits a fullsize truck but i am not sure of the dimensions of the box. Does anyone know if regular full size toolboxes fir in the supercrew bed as well or is a smaller box needed.

These toolboxes mount at the FRONT of the bed (closest to the cab), regardless of the length of the bed. It'll mean that your useable space in the bed will be even smaller due to the toolbox. You only have to worry about the width of the box, for those who own flareside beds, which are narrower than standard beds.

It will have to be a shallow mount as well the deep one doesn't clear the fender wells but a full-size box will fit as long as it's shallow

Lowes sells a "Mini" toolbox that is only 12 inches wide and 14 inches deep. It's perfect for Screws if you don't have a lot of stuff to carry around. They also sell a mounting kit that clamps onto the inside lip of your bed so you don't have to drill any holes. Take a look at my post for "Toolbox Option" for a picture.

How is the build of the lowes/home depot ones.. I'm a little leerily of not shelling out for a weatherguard like my dad always gets or at least a craftsman. Lol. But for half to a third of the price it may be worth it.
