i couldnt resist but i believe the edge is a bit better but the gryphon i think is what most prefer. although i dont think you will be satisfied with what a tuner will do. from my experiences most mods other than forced induction are all fairly minimal as far as seat of the pants power with my exhaust tuner and intake i rate it about a 3ish out of 1-10 according to my butt dyno. and that with all of them at once. just my opinion. ive heard some complaints from ppl who own superchips saying that it feels like its eating their tranny and i hear alot of em moving to an edge or even higher up the line. i have an edge and its great. couldnt b happier. but the guy above is right in that the gryphon has the custom tunes. its basically an edge with custom tunes and ive heard some good **** about it. its relatively the same price. i believe maybe only 50 bucks more? look up azfx4. he did research on edge vs gryphon and ended up getting a gryphon so ask him how he likes it and what not. if you go to my page hes posted a few messages on my wall so thats an easy way to find him.

Edge Evo or the Gryphon.. Gryphon you can do custom tunes to get the most out of your truck. It's same as the Edge just rebadged for Powerhungryperformance.

I wouldn't get the Superchips.. though I do know a guy who has a F150 with a 6inch lift and 35s and had 225k miles on it and it ran fine but it was on it's 2nd tranny.....

But Gryphon with the custom tunes you won't bake your tranny.

And I do agree with kingbrian some. CAI, Exhaust and a tuner/programmer will wake up your truck some. Your not looking at a HOLY **** I'm superfast now truck. But there will be a nice kick in performance. Forced induction is the way to go if you really want a fast truck... but your looking at thousands to do so.

My buddy is in the process of going from Edge Evo to full on Supercharged 5.4.. so I'm pretty stoked to drive his truck to see the difference.. but it's just so expensive to do so.
