Default Summit Truck Headers

I need to replace my passenger side exhaust manifold. And no one here has a used one for less than $150.
Summit has their truck headers on sale for $175 shipped.
Does anyone have any experience with these headers? All the competitors headers run $300-$500. I was wondering if Summit's own headers was worth it.
Thanks for any and all help.

Wayne

summit just buys in bulk from other companies then rebadges it and then sells it

is it worth it?? it depends if you want them to last forever and look nice if you dont mind seeing rusty headers within a week of putting them on then ya there worth it

rusty headers haha kinda like how the stock manifolds look i have the summit headers on my 5.4l they are actually pace setter. they come panted but that burnt off but they are not rusted and i have had them for a while i like them the hardest part on the install was the egr tube i had to bend it to make it fit

i will second that! i have them on my 99 4.6. no rust but paint is gone. mine were rebadged pacesetters also. my egr tube was junk before i started so picked up a new one. yes you will have to rebend it. if i remember right i thought mine were cheaper than that. but it has been about a year

just remember you get what you pay for and i have heard of cheaper headers warping if they get hot then you drive through a puddle which cools them quickly
