Default Sub box placement or ideas

Got my 98 extended cab and I have no idea how I'm gonna fit a good sounding sub box in it.

I had just a single 10" in my Mustang and that was fine for my bass needs, but I'm not sure on what I could use in the F150. Any ideas or links or how-to's somebody wanna share?

Thanks.

EDIT: Just noticed the stereo section of the forum. If the a mod needs to move this, please do so. Thanks.

I've got a JL Stealth Box (10w3v2), goes where the center console goes. Was enough bass for me until someone wanted my head unit and amps more than me.

I laid down one of the seats in the rear and put my subs there.... It works for me... i didnt want to put a box under the seat, because i would have to get shallow mount subs

You got a pic of it? Any more details on it?

I'm looking at one right now for a set of 10's but the internal volume is a bit small. Guess I can over stuff the chambers with extra dampening to help it.

Yeah i agree, it looks "GHETTO" right now. I plan on putting two bucket seats in the rear and putting the sub box in the place of the center console.

I looked online at those pre-fabbed boxes. i think I'll do my usual and build my own box. I did it in my Ram, and ended up making 8 more for friends. I like em to look clean, and custom. Maybe a nice amp rack in it too!
