Default stupid me

I ordered this off Advanced Auto

Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic

Wearever Brake Caliper Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket -Domestic

Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube (.5 oz)

3 bottles Wearever Premium Synthetic DOT 3 Brake Fluid Brake Fluid (12 oz.)

UPS shipped.......2 of the three brake fluid bottles broken, I guess during shipping and brake fluid drenched everything inside.

I should have known. All of these shipping guys don't give a rat's ***** about being careful with stuff.

I called Advanced and I am getting a refund for 2 bottles of brake fluid, but i had to wipe all the stuff down. I would have picked up at store but there were out of stock and they offered free shipping that is the only reason I went for it. Oh well.

Never again!

Fault lies with the shipper, not UPS.

Definitely not totally true...could be either or both. I've gotten stuff back with hi-lo fork ran right through. Milwaukee drills with chuck busted clean off, shipping container demolished and I double duty everything. So yea, that's some BS without a doubt. It's gotten better though, I will say that. Also, UPS WAS the worst.

Packages aren't hand carried everywhere in the system. They go down belts and slides, there are jam ups sometimes which causes packages to fall off the belt. If the shipper doesn't take the time to properly package the parts, there is a better chance of something leaking, especially liquids.
If they put brake fluid in a box with brake calipers, that aren't lightweight, what do they expect to happen?

That's crap lol, I'd be cheesed that's for sure.

What are doing w/104's ? I did a write-up on those quite awhile ago, worst plugs in existence. 103's and 104's. Even got the manufacturer involved back then at that web site.

Regardless, that's terrible, I would complain. They didn't so much as throw paper in the box lol.

I have never had any luck with UPS. I have been forced to use them about 5 times. I was over charged every time. They are the most expensive way to ship to Canada. 2 of those 5 deliveries disappeared never to be seen again. Another of those 5 was in two boxes which UPS immediately separated, only one showed up where it was supposed and on time. It took multiple phone calls to find they dropped the other piece at the airport (on the other side of town). I got it two weeks later. So 2 out of 5 times I received my stuff on time without hassle. Great record.

Some companies also hire crack heads to pack and ship their packages. I would be rather unpleased to see my spark plugs shipped like that (white89gt). I ordered some books and they came through Canada Post from Ontario and found the jack wagon that packed them didn't even tape the box shut. How it did not pop open coming from the other side of Canada is beyond me. I was lucky to get my complete order.

My Escape runs great with them. This is the second set. The first set was in there for 70,000 miles - so I figured I'd use them again. I had bad luck with AP104's - but the APP104's (Double Platinum) are more gooder.

I did complain to Amazon - but the *****hats aren't responding

I don't know if you all have DHL in your area, but they are the worst. I've had them throw boxes over my fence and onto the lawn.... when it's raining. They suck!
