Default Strobe Light Bar

Hey guys I was going to purchase a Amber LED Light Bar for my truck but did not know how you mount it. I am trying to avoid drilling holes in the roof and would like to see how people mounted theres. Any help would be appreciated.

most bars have a mount kit that wraps into the door frame. or if its a mini lightbar they have magnetic feet. what kind of bar are you looking to get (brand)?

I was thinking cheap like a STL but not sure if it will look ugly on the front doors because mine is a 3 door.

It is for a strobe light bar not a LED strip on the very front.

go to elightbars.org you can find good deals on quality brand lightbars and should be able to find pics of a bar on a similar truck for refference. you should be able to find a whelen liberty for a good price. i have found that paying a little more up front will cost you less i the long run. plus i find the name brand bars are much better looking in my opinion. if you have any questions pm me and ill get back to you quicker. dan

Thank you Dan, If I could get a Whelen bar that would be so much better. I just find that they are so expensive but I will try to find what they have to offer.

Yes thank you, not sure what i am going to do yet. I want to mount it on some sort of a backrack but don't have very many to choose from on a stepside.

if you do find a back rack, whelen makes mounts that slide into the groove on the bottom of the bar and instead of the feet it has a bolt that would go into the rack
