strange rattle

Default strange rattle
when I accerate just before my tranny shifts i hear a strange rattle just for a few seconds then it goes away and comes back just before it shifts again what could this be driving me crazy (2003 5.4)

I would check sway bar links, motor and tranny mounts,u joints, and even the backing plates behind your front rotors. Can you tell if its coming from the front or back?

could be the cats also, I would check your tranny, engine, and transfer case(if you have it) mounts if thats inconclusive
