hello all im a new owner of an older 97 f150 xlt 4x4 ...... my problem is the steering is so friggen tight....it seem to loosen up a bit after the truck has been sitting for a 1/2 hour or more but after driving for a 1/2 hour or so it gets tight again!?!?! it is steerable but TIGHT , when the wheel is turned it stays in place ,for instance if i wanted it to go in circles by itself it could , because it is so tight that it will not require anyone to hold the wheel ......the pump seems fine (no noise or leaks) and the front was jacked in the air and i still had the same resistance.....ANY IDEA's? please help
