Power lock problems!!

Default Power lock problems!!

I have a 99 xlt and the power locks arnt working... You press the switch and all it does is clicks.. Ideas?

You problebly need new actuators.

Mine locks were doing the same. Both acutators needed to be replaced.

You can get them online for cheap. But I had one from eBay and it only lasted a year. There a pain in the *** to replace too. A motorcraft actuator is $75. I know I just bought one Monday.

To replace you have to remove the latch, handle, and the bolt on the window rail. There tight in the door so it takes a while to get everything unhooked to get it out

Ya take the panel off and there a little hard to work with but you can do it
