Default Pressed on Shift ****

When I got the truck, it had a Hurst T-handle pressed on. Because the handle was aluminum, whoever installed just hammered it on.

You can run a die over the splines and tap the shaft for threads
Last 96 I had the previous owner had a pool table "8 ball" on there he had drilled and tapped
He was asking me if he could thread the shift lever, I said yes, he did it and gave me the truck a few years later when it started having trouble (processor)
I no longer have the truck for a photo, but it's still in the family
