Mainly looking for a small sub to go under the rear bench in my 97 extended cab if anyone knows of a box out there or has one I could buy that would be great! Don't really want to raise the seat if I don't have to .

This really depends on what you want to put under there. Do you want a single eight in a powered enclosure or a downfiring ten in a custom box with an external amp?

Running an amp to your speakers will help

I have an 8" kicker under my rear seat. It sticks out a little bit but not to bad, I've thought about cutting it and making it a bit smaller and making it a ported box. It's hooked up to a JL 250w amp, and hits surprisingly hard for an 8.

I used to have 2 kicker 8's under my seat, they hit pretty good especially for 8's and fit very nicely in a box I made. Now I'm pounding on 2 JL 10's which leave no extra room but are way louder and clearer.
