Steering wheel
1. DIsconnect battery and turn headlights on then off to drain residual current
2. Use a small flathead screwdriver to pop the two circular access covers off of the back of the steering wheel plastic
3. Use a ratchet and 8mm socket with a small extension to remove the airbag to steering wheel bolts.
4. Gently pull up on airbag and disconnect wiring harnesses. Set it somewhere safe where it won't get touched. Rumor has it that even static electricity will set it off
5. disconnect the wiring harness from the cruise control switches to the clock spring
6. I can't remember the torx size, I want to say it's a T55 but I could be wrong. Either way you'll need a torx socket and a 1/2" ratchet to break the bolt loose holding the steering wheel to the column. Just loosen the bolt5 or 6 turns, do not completely remove it.
7. Use an adjustable 3 jaw puller and line the center punch up with the center of the steering wheel bolt, and adjust the claws so they firmly grip the aluminum frame of the steering wheel
8. It may take a few tries and some creativity but crank down on the center punch until the steering wheel lifts off of the column.
9. loosen and remove the steering wheel bolt, remove steering wheel
