ok so i looked at my motor mounts and they are not bad enough to get that shaft to move away from the engine. But now i found this recall on our trucks and was wondering if this may be my problem, or if anyone else has encountered it?

http://www.f150online.com/forums/oth...haft-yoke.html

Please someone help me out its driving me crazy!

Nope, still havent figured it out. It sucks cause nobody else is trying to really help but you, and i really do, and would appreciate it if you could upload some pics of yours for me. Im about to make an appointment with ford, and if it isnt the recall hopefully they can tell me what it is, and if it is the recall i will be so f%$&ing happy that it will be done with and for free lol

Thanks again

well i think i might have figured this out and i feel dumb for not adding this info before but oh well. So it broke that hose clamp again so i decided to figure it out and remembered when i bought the truck the guy said there was a 4.6 from a mustang in it(which i should have posted before) But anyways i went to ford and had them order the oil filter assembley for the truck and sure enough it was a different angle and size. So went to a junk yard and picked one up for $25 the dealer wanted $280 and now im about to put it on and see if it works wish me luck.
