Starting Problem More Detailed, Need Help
OK, so a little background.
My truck is a 1998 Manual Transmission F150 V6.
The issue is, I changed out the heater core, removed the dash and put it back exactly the same, now it won't start.
By it wont start I mean, the truck gets power but no turn over or crank or any noise indicating it trying to start.
I've checked the fuses, the battery and the starter.
Now it being manual and me having to press the clutch in, is it possible that it may not think the clutch is pressed down? Is there a fuse or connector for that that I don't know about? If not what else could it be?
This is my everyday work truck and I need it to run asap
Can anyone please help me out?
If more information is needed let me know and I'll post it.
But please try to keep this post alive so I can get as much input as possible.

put it in neutral turn the key on take a screw driver and short the solenoid
accros see if it trys too start. my 88 f150 was manuel and the clutch safty went out and thats how i had too start it till i could afford too replace the safety switch. any way if it trys too start u know its somthing inside the cab around the ignition switch. BESURE ITS IN NEUTRAL EMEGERNCY BRAKE SET OR TIRE BLOCKED AND ON THE MOST LEVEL AREA POSSIBLE. what ever that thing is in the pics defintly goes some were im not shure wat it is though im googleing right now
on the first image theres a ford emblem on the part and below a part number i would google that see wat u come up with. i cant see it good enough too make it out.

I searched the part by the US PATENT number that I read on your pics.
It's a Clutch Actuator Switch, read page 6 of the link that I have included for you, actually read it all.
Your truck will not start without this being installed according to what I read. After you read the link(page one), I think you will be able to see where it goes, sounds like it snaps back on, somewhere around your master cylinder clutch push rod from what I read at the bottom of page 6 of the link, and from what I see from the U shaped groove in the pic.
Read all the pages.
Great pics! Good luck!

It is the clutch engagement switch. This part attaches to the clutch rod at the firewall. When you engage the clutch this part stays put, the rod moves inside. You can bypass the system it you want but for safety I wouldn't. Just reattach it where the pedal and rod hookup under the dash. Good luck.
