Unhappy Starter bad?

Put a new computer in my 02 F150 4.2, took it to Ford to get keys programed and found out my starter was bad. Replaced the solenoid and truck started once and would not start again, replaced the starter and solenoid on firewall and put a new battery in and still have the same problem. This ha me stumped???

Is it cranking? Not cranking?

Sounds like you've got another possible hornets nest with the keys getting programmed, and we need to know if it cranks at all?

I'm inclined to think you've got a bad cable.... assuming your connectors are clean, etc.

It's just a process of elimination....learn the process or get left behind. Damn, those were Grandpas words.
