So you still have the key in the start position, and the starter stops turning over, then the engine starts a second or two after the starter stops?

Yes and it's not like I'm waiting 10 seconds for it I mean it all happens pretty quick

If say at it's worst it's about a 1-2 second pause, it's really goofy

Start with the starter solenoid, they're super cheap on rockauto.

So I believe my fuel pump is going out and that's what is causing that
