Default Squeel.

My truck is squealing when I start it. Put a new belt, idler and tensioner assembly on it. And replaced the alternator it has a slight squeal. I'm Storting to wonder if its the ax compressor or the starter...

Well the starter wouldn't havnt anything to do with that idk if u ment something else , but the easiest way to figure out which pulley is bad is take the belt back off and grab each pulley and try wobbling it hopefully its not your crank pulley

It will have play in it yes the it could also be your power steering pump also. But be sure before you start throwing money out the door. Always do research before you fix it. Or you will be wasting a lot of cash on guesses. Good luck and if ya need more info pm me. I will help yah as best as I can.

Take the belt off and start it...that will tell you if its a pulley or not.
