Default Squeeky front end

Hello everyone,

The front end of my truck has a really squeeky noise coming from the drivers side. I have greesed the ball joints and tie rod ends and still have the noise, if I take it in water about half way up the wheels and come back out on dry land the noise goes away for a bit. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated!!!

Don't know if submerging your truck in water is a good idea, but if the ball joints and tie rods are in good shape, i'd guess your bushings are bad.

I used to have the same problem, but I would get the squeaky noise everytime I turned my wheel.

Those about 6 of them...2 are on the stabilizer bar, and the other 4 are on the lower control arms (2 on each arm). I would spray it down with WD-40 and see if that takes away the problem temporarily. If that doesn't work, then try the tie rods, pitman arm, and idler arm.

The problem on my truck was the outter tie rod (on the driver's side).

The pitman arm is a common issue with squeaking when turning, but without hearing it I can't say that it's it. Get under the truck while someone's turning the wheel and listen and feel.
