Default Squeal when starting and idling

When I start my truck there's a high pitched squeal that's very annoying what's wrong?

Give a lil more detail than that. When does it do it? Is it constant? Does it squeal only when its cold, or does it squeal when its warm too? It could be several things. Anything from a belt, pulleys, power steering pump, a/c compressor, etc.

It does it when the motor is cold and it does it until it gets warm

Next time you go to start it, have either a squirt bottle full of water or a can of WD40. With the engine idling spray the belt with 3 small shots of WD or 3 full sprays of water. If the squealing stops briefly but returns after the belt begins to dry out, its the belt. If it persist as if you did nothin, its most likely a bad pulley.

Spray wd40 on the belt and pulley or just the belt?
