Squeak while running
$4 well spent in my opinion. I don't use mine very often, but it does come in handy.
I still need to pull my water pump one of these days, and replace and seal the o-ring gasket.

If it's squealing like a pig on occasion, I wouldn't push my luck. If it goes totally, you might wish you hadn't. Problem is that hole deal can all the sudden get very sloppy...that's when bad things can happen.

Well you can check for slop with the belt on, moving it back and forth with a little force, they usually don't leak. But they can be tight and squealing every now and again then just go completely. Selling it or not, I would just change it, it's not a bad job. Could make or break a sale, -or make it worth a lot less to a prospective buyer if it happens to piggy up before the sale.
