Default Spray in bed liner

Spray in bed liner is $50 a gallon at wall Mart and my friend has a gun I have a super crew with the 5.5 ft bed. How hard is it? How many gallons do I need? Is it a good idea? Thanks for your help.

the prep work is the hard part. Spraying is easy.

You can not apply it with a normal paint gun...think about it...theres sand in the bed liner...

I sprayed Herculiner with an undercoating gun. It kind of just spits the liner out. In hindsight I wish I would have just rolled it. It takes forever to get an even coat.

I did the prep work one night and took my time and did the rolling the next day. Didn't rush it so it could setup between layers. Here's a pic with my dirty foot prints in it.

If using Herculiner without a bed cover, I absolutely recommend the UV protectant. Otherwise it looks like faded crap within weeks.
