Default Speaker size?

I'm in the market for some new door speakers. So I know 6x8's will work in the front, but I'm not sure what will fit the back. 6x8's as well? Or can I fit bigger? I'd like to have more balance than just having the same size/range all around. Thanks for any help.

Xcab are 6x8 in front and rear. I would assume that screws are the same. It is possible to cram a 6x9 in though with a little cutting.

6x8's will fit in the back. I believe that you can fit bigger speakers with some trimming.

I'd like to put some 6x9's in the back because i have the back two speakers amped, and I'd like to be able to use a bit more of the amps power.

I just installed
these 6x8s these 6x8s
in my 1999 F150 SCAB and they are SUPERB. The rear speakers will get the same treatment next payday.
