Did you tried to run the system without any sub or amp ?

Mine did that too, dont exaclty know how i fixed it.

For your info , my system is pretty old and its a 2 channel.

12' sub, 1 amp, 2 front pioneer speaker and 2 stock in the back.

What is the RCA output of your head unit labeled? If it is a subwoofer output then it will only put out bass, and it won't matter what amp comes after it. If this is the case then you will need to wire the speaker wires to an amp with a high level input to play full frequency sound through your door speakers.

I agree with the people suggesting to check your head unit. Go through all of the frequency filter settings on the head unit and make sure they aren't set too low. Also some head units have the option of changing the rca outputs in the settings. Make sure they aren't set to subwoofer.

If all fails, try to hook a speaker back to the stock wires or another amp to make sure you didn't blow them or something.

Check your filters. You could have blown a tweeter if you didn't have you filters set accordingly.

Are you running the fronts or rears off the amp?

I'm running both front and rear. I don't think I have tweeters... I didn't see any. I'm gonna out a 4 channel amp and see what that does. Because I messed with the headunit. Even went threw each door to check each wire. Its soooo weird. I've never seen anything like this before

So I got my system working. The only problem I have now is a noise coming from the speaker that increases when I rev the engine like its gaining power from it.. speaker still works
