Default Spark plugs?

I was wondering what spark plugs would be best to put in my truck and if i should put new wires in as well? Its a 2000 with a 5.4.

If it's time for new pugs, then it's time for new wires. For best results, use Motorcraft. Our trucks are VERY picky about plugs.

I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I always kinda figured they were the same thing.

Isn't there a wire between the plug and cop, that you can replace? Or is it just one unit?

I'm not sure i havent torn into it yet. Its got 216,XXX and I'm fairly sure that the previous owner did little to know maintenance on it other than oil changes.

No, COP = Coil On Plug.

Right^^^ if the cops are not missing/cracked and working good there is NO reason to change them...plugs on the other hand do need replaced every so often....
