Spark plugs
All these "unobtainium" style plugs are a sales gimmick. Good ole copper plugs are the best, they produce better spark because of the conductivity of copper. Copper is the second best conductor of electricity next to gold, but gold is expensive and soft compared to copper so they use copper. Plus, for the price of a set of the marketing plugs you could have 3 sets of copper plugs.

Copper conducts better than platinum or iridium, but wears much faster.
That is why copper plugs need to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so, platinum and iridium can go 100,000 or so. Thing is, most plugs are still copper core, they just have a coating of platinum or iridium over the copper to make it last longer.
For the PITA that the plugs are in this truck, I use OEM (double platinum?).
In vehicles with easy access to plugs, I use copper.
