spark plugs

Default spark plugs

where the heck are my plugs located

they are on top of the engine. look at your coil packs. one on each front side of the block. just follow the wires from there to ur plugs.

Damn that was crazy. Found the plugs and got 1,2,3 and 4 out and 5, and 6 were easy too, but 7 and 8 were not so fun. I pulled the fuel rail off the 5 6 7 8 side just to get the 7 out! Thats crap!!!
Ford should do a better job at engineering so that their maintainables are ergonomically sound. No matter who does the work!!!
Anyway, got them all out and new ones in. The #4 has coolant in it from when I flushed the system a couple of weekes ago-OOOPPS!

Keep an eye on #4, its not a good sign to have coolant on it.

modular plugs are probably the easiest you will ever pull on a late model vehicle. I can do 7 plugs in 10 minutes on my 4.6L bird.
