Question smoked tail lights

i really like the tinted/smoked tail lights ive seen on trucks but ive never seen that look on an older model such as my 2003
does anyone have any pictures of a 97-03 body style with the smoked lights?
and any opinions on how it would look on a black 2003 supercrew?

When I was in Houston in 1998, I was told they were illeagel to have them on while driving (in the county).

I took mine off before I got stoped by the police (they just popped off).

BTW- I had a 1987 F-150 then.

I did state inspections for two years in Houston Texas, and the limitations on the tail lights were that the rear red reflector had to be visible, and the tail lights and brake lights had to be visible for 300 feet when lit. The vehicle MUST have rear red reflectors. If you completely black them out where no red is visible they become illegal.
