Default Spark Plugs

So, this weekend i tackled putting new spark plugs in my truck... Oh my doG. i have an 03 Screw. The four plugs nearest the cab were hell. I got six of the eight done in about 6 hours... so an hour a plug. I was curious if putting a 2" body lift on my truck would help with giving me a little more space in the engine compartment for the next time i do this.

I have never owned a lifted vehicle, i would like suspension, but if body helps with space in the engine compartment i would consider a compromise.

Any ideas?

body lifts give you a lot more room in the engine compartment. i had mine on when i did my plug change, had tons of room to move around. did a plug swap on my friends 00' without a body lift, not as much room to move around especially in the rear.

how long did it take you to do the entire job!? only 4 plugs in 6 hours lol something must have gone wrong...i did my uncles V10 in under 45 minutes.

Im not exactly a mechanic. Just mechanically enough inclined to do a little research and do it myself lol. Im pretty much self taught. So figured, take it slow and be sure I did it right. My dads a mechanic, he seemed to really emphasize not to let any dirt or anything fall into the cylinder or the fuel rail ports. So used alot of carb cleaner and compressed air to blow it out.

I have a 3" Body Lift and love the extra room in the engine bay. I did my plugs about a month ago and only had to move the fuel rail for one plug.

I Just use a swivel instead of pulling the fuel rail

the only thing i did different was un bolt the power steering fluid reservoir, i was able to get a better angle and get in to the one that i had to take the fuel rail off the first time.

I have 3" body lift with a 6" suspension lift. The body lift make so much room under the hood! Huge difference.

So, i had only gotten 6 of my spark plugs changed in my 5.4l.

I got my powersteering reservoir put back so i could head to work today after lunch. Started my truck up and is idling rough. My check engine light did not come on. So idk if its missing in one of the cylinders.

My curiosity is, i used E3 spark plugs, and they create a hotter spark.

If there is a hotter spark in 6 cylinders, and a lower spark through the older worn out two cylinders, could that make it run rough.

I am going to finish it up tonight. But other than that.

Could it be something else?
