Default Spark plug wires

So this weekend im gonna get my spark plugs done, got a set of efx coils and was wondering what type of spark plug wire should i use? Going to just replace them all and was wondering if I should just stick to factory motorcraft or is it worth it to buy some thicker performance wires?

If your truck has Coil on Plug like mine you will have to have what is called a wireing Harness. I spoke to my Ford Dealer parts department the other day. I have a 2003 F150 I was told the wireing harness was no longer made and could no longer get it for my tuck. I'm not sure exaxtly what to do to replace guess will have to check local salvage yards..

Are you talking about the ignition harness? I'm just talking about the spark plug wires which is entirely different

He prolly thinks you have 8 coil packs instead of the 2 mounted up front I'm guessing you have of u need wires. Other wise u just need the spark boot and it comes with a spring thing for coil over plug setup

I have COPs but tbh I have no experience with any type of ignition system other then a 4.0 jeep lol. I have the COPs and plugs and I just assumed it used some type of ignition wire that I was going to replace while I was at it

That's your wire and boot. Ur new coils should have come with them I would think. But if u need them autozone would be plenty good enough u can get a set of 8 for around 40 bucks
