Spark plug question...why would this be in a 2v?

Default Spark plug question...why would this be in a 2v?

Standard plug on bottom.
The top plug looks like a 3v plug with an adapter of some sort. This is the only one like this.
Why?

I should also mention that the threads on the standard plug look to be the same size as the threads on the head end of the adapter.

Looks like the P.O. did quick repair for mangled threads for the spark plug hole. The "adapter" seems to be a sort of thread chaser.

I threaded a standard plug in with no problem but didn't torque it all the way. I'm nervous, lol

i derped and drop a small piece of rubber down an open sparkhole once got it out but i was scared to even start the truck which my uncle told me to do to blow it out lol

Lol I dropped part of the broken boot into the piston. I knew it would melt so I left it. As soon as I started the truck it was smoking like crazy for a couple of seconds.
She's running like a top now.

Doorman cylinder head repair kit was used.

He had a blow out or cross threaded the plug at one time.

What tackle said ^^, that's the cheap (and wrong) way to fix blown sparkplugs without using a proper insert. The adapter is self tapping and bites into the heads since they were more than likely damaged from the original spark plug blowing out. That adapter effectively re-tapped the head and mangled the original threads, so your old sparkplugs will not properly thread in now. If you installed a new plug as is, count on it blowing out very soon.

To properly fix this you will need to install an insert like a lock n' stich, timecert, helicoil insert, etc... I recommended doing some more reading on this subject since this is a very common problem. I had one of them in my truck too. Good luck!
