Do you think I can reuse that broken coil pack until a new one arrives?

can I replace just one? Or do they all need to be replaced at the same time?

Ford's positive connector locks SUCK. One thing that has given me good luck is to spray the hell out of them with brake cleaner, and flush all the dust, dirt, and debris out of that section of the connector, then carefully use a pick or cat claw to free them.

As far as using the broken coil, the answer is MAYBE. If the conductors inside have been compromised then you will have a misfire for sure. Only way to know is to pop it back in and see.

You can replace only one coil if you need to.

Does anyone have a link to where one could buy the appropriate connector for the coils?

If you look on the connector you will find the part number. What is it? It looks like a 33471-0307.

https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...10307/14699019

$2.20 each.

I’ll give a look.

i buttoned everything back up, including the broken headed coil pack and everything is smooth… no codes, no issues.

i did notice two large oily spots on the engine top and a distinct ticking noise though. I’d like to know the cause of each of these.

Your seals are weeping. Requires removal of the head cover to replace them.
