I just put a jumper wire in the #5 to #12. No wires to cut, can be taken out at any time if you want.

Just FYI, this pic shows #5 to #7, I was trying something different since I have auto headlights (did not work).

I eventually took the headlight switch apart and shaved the ramp and took the jumper wire out.

Do you really need to do all that stuff to your headlight switch though? or can you just wire it up to the AutoLamp?

I did it 11 years ago. Used a dremal tool for the cut out. Never a problem except, - I got pulled over once forgetting to turn my heads on at night. The fogs (or driving lights) are bright enough to make you forget. Yea, they pulled me over for it...geeezz.

Sweet! Not that you got pulled over but that they are that bright haha what bulbs are you running in your fog lights I am thinking of upgrading my headlight bulbs soon and was thinking about putting my old ones in my fog lights ( if that's doable) I am pretty sure I seen something about doing that before on here

Still using the factory set. Original bulbs I think. Well, I can't recall having to changing one out anyway.
