Default Sometimes man... Sometimes

I really use this forum to vent haha this is like my Facebook cu I don't know/wanna know how to use the real one...

So let me fill you guys in on my morning..

Woke up 315 strapped the trailer on to drop my scag and other various lawn equipment to to my buddy ( I own N&B lawn care) we had a lawn to do but besides that...
Driving down the road I hear a ridiculous growling noise when I turned right...

I thought to myself here it is another problem...

So I drop the trailer off and head to work as I'm turning on the on ramp I hear it again and now I'm at highway speeds and I hear wooga wooga wooga going down the highway...

I get to work and bang out a quick 10 hours go get my truck cuz it needed an oil change and rotation....or so I thought

So I set it on the lift and check my front end and grease all my fittings and whatnot I get to the passenger side and I have a ridiculous amount of play in the wheel...bearings shot yup great news

So I rip it all apart and don't notice the clock and I cut the front rotors and drained the oil and it was 615!?

ALL PARTS PLACES ARE CLOSED THAT DELIVER!!!

So i had to walk 4 miles away 8 total carrying a wheel bearing (186.99) from international car parts just so happened if I had called 20 minutes earlier I could have got it for 98.00 oh boy

I pop in the bearing throw the rotors back on and the oil filter then I realize that I have no oil....

The dealership closes at 7 and the oil is controlled by parts which also closes at 7 so I had to run to AUTOZONE ( just down the road a couple blocks) an back again carrying 7 quarts of oil .... Oh boy

Now I got everything buckled back up and I go to start the truck and can you guess what happens next??????

DEAD BATTERY!!!! OH BOY!!

So I charge up the battery and pack up my tools and change to go home and guess what else I did...

Left my wallet in the locker room!!!!

So by the time i realize this I'm at the 7-11 counter with a log of Skoal straight on the counter and I'm 50 minutes away from work so I had to drive all the way back

I get there see my wallet and i check to see if everything is there and about 80 bucks in cash is gone but all my cards are there so now I'm even more mad ...

Now I'm home and I just thought I would tell you guys haha but seriously come on now this is ridiculous

Sometimes man... Sometimes

Yeah.. It could have! You could have been so angry and forgot about the oil and tried to run it.

I had a similar day. Had to replace a pitman arm on my 97. Replacement of the tie rods was a breeze. Idler arm was cake work. Get the gear both loose to gain access to the pitman arm nut. Hit it with my 1/2" impact for 10 mins with heat and it doesnt budge. Break out the 3/4 and ended up snapping the nut in half. Call everwhere to try to find just a nut. Ended up having to replace the gear box. Got it all back together to get it aligned and the damn tech has my steering wheel sitting at 45 degress to the left. What ever happened to test driving a vehicle when you were done?

your idler arm must not have been stuck like mine was, I had to borrow a ball joint separator and hammer on that for a good 5mins before it came off.

Aren't wheel bearings cheaper than that? I am looking into doing my front bearing soon and I got a part quote of like $40.. Was I looking at the wrong part?
