I was driving today and I pulled out from a stop sign and got in the throttle and as the truck sped up it sounded fine but when I got out of the throttle and it shifted, something squeaked and I'm not sure if that is a problem.

 

Simple solution, don't punch it.

 

First, farm, welcome! Can you be more specific as to where the squeak was coming from if you cold tell? Eg., under hood, right front, etc.?

Heheheee, I have to admit, SR2 had my first thought! My pain doctor told me the exact thing, seriously! "We'll, don't move your arm that way!" Old joke, but it was funny.

Somebody more knowledgeable than me will chime in.

My uncle and I both had the same problem, he's been a ford mechanic for 22 years and said that from the change in rpms the belt is sqeeling on the crank when the motor slows down again, all the 97-03 fords I've ever rode in do that

 

I also vote belt squeak. Mine did it one time when I did a flat out acceleration to 35 and stoped rite when I got ther.

 

Mine does it all the time, it's kinda annoying, mine does it even if I just hold it full throttle it'll squeak from 1-2 and 2-3 and then nothing

 

Yep sure sounds like belt squeek

 

What it sounds like is the belt tensioner is weak.
