Default Snow Chains

Hey Everyone,

So I need to buy some snow chains for my tires and have no clue which ones to buy. Im putting them on a 2001 Ford F-150. I've never driven with or purchased chains before. Any Suggestions?

How often will you be using them? Are you driving on ice or snow, hiway or off road?

Im going to be driving in Big Bear and will need to go up and down the Mtn. on a regular basis. So I'll be driving mainly on Mtn. roads. I don't really have and experience driving on ice and snow so im just trying to figure out what i'll need.

I'd get chains and a good set of AT tires
I live right at the bottom of watermen where the 18 goes up to crestline so I'm up there quite a bit too
But I don't keep chains, just used 4wd when I need it

Can you recommend a good set of chains? I just put on BFGOODRICH Long Trail T/A tires on a couple months ago, size P275/60R17.

To be honest I don't know any good brands of chains, I've never shopped for chains
