Default Slow Power Window..Sometimes Stops??

Hello All,
As the title says, my power windows are slow to move and sometimes stop on the way down on Auto. Is my motor going bad?? Is there a timer for the motor or is it a pressure switch for stopping it???
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Regards,
Tom

If you take off the door skin look inside the door, it is the mechanism that raises an d lowers the window, run window up and down you'll see what I'm talking about. Keep your hands out of the door when you run it as you could be less a finger or two! As for the lube I think a white lithium grease would do the trick

Thanks for the post 4dtuff !!!
I found it thanks to the search tab!!!!
Thanks also to Good old Bill
Pull the door panel off. Pull the plastic vapor barrior off trying not to tear it. Inside the door you will see the glass bonded to the window regulator. There is your problem. I prefer the white lithium grease available at any auto parts store. Using an acid brush, place a small amount inside the tract where the little plastic rollers contact. Run it up and down several times. Should be good to go. The Electric motor and clutch is usually a different symptom. ENJOY!

Had that issue with mine right before it stopped working altogether. Problem is that the motor no longer meets up with the crescent gear that actuates the raising and lowering arms. I have NO clue how it could have moved, but it did, and no amount of repositioning seems to help.

Good thing its the passenger side.
