I keep reading about the gotts mods along with the removal of the air intake silencer ... I did the gotts mods and I love I notice better pick up and my truck just seems to ride smoother and now I'm just wondering about the silencer is it worth removing? Also cleaning the MAF is this a good idea for increase mpg's?

I did both at the same time, so I don't know how much the silencer did separately, but if I were you, I would do it. Its a little bit of a pain, but it is FREE.

Its a great idea to clean the MAF sensor, it will do nothing but help. Just make sure you use MAF cleaner, and don't touch the wire.
