Looking to replace my dad's side mirrors on his '99 F150 Lariat as a nice little Christmas present, only need to replace the glass and would like to keep the turn signal feature. I have checked out ebay and other sites and compared prices, I'm mainly looking for people who have done this replacement before and their thoughts on where to buy products and how to's on the replacement process.

if its a 99 probably isnt a bad idea to go ahead and replace the whole mirror (both) its really not hard at all, and i got a full replacement mirror off of amazon for $30 and it has been as good or better as an oem mirror

 

Like jb said, it would be a lot easier to replace the entire thing. eBay is a good start, but don't discount junk yards and pick n pull type places.
