Shutter when starting out
I have a 2002 Ford F-150 4x4 5.4 Supercrew with 260,000 miles on it, all miles are highway. When I pull away from a stop, I will feel the engine or transmisson shutter for about 2 seconds and then go away as I increase the speed. I do not feel it any other time while I'm driving unless I stop and pull away from another stop. I have had the transmission powerflushed by the dealer 2 months ago. No problems caused me to do this, I thought that it might be time to put new fluid in it. I do not remember the shutter before the fluid change.
Any suggestions?

I have heard bad things about getting your trans flushed or power flushed in your case. From what I have read with high mileage transmissions there will typically be a good amount of metal shavings in there and when you flush it those parts get dislodged from the magnet that collects them and pushes them into the working parts of the tranny. This essentially kills the tranny, requiring a rebuild.
With high mileage transmissions it is best to drop the pan, clean the metal off the magnet, and drain the torque converter when changing the tranny fluid.
I hope you do not need a new tranny or a rebuild, but this could possible be the problem.

Mine is doing the same thing yours is doing but only after i drive it for a long distance. Once a month i take about an hours trip to the doctors office and it starts doing it after i have made the trip down there. Anyways i had mine looked at and they told me it was a clutch pack in the rear end ? Im waiting on payday to take it back and have it replaced and that should be a fun item to change LOL.
