Shock mounts

Default Shock mounts

It looks like there are shock mounts on the front of my axle on my 2001 screw. Arw there realy 4 rear shock mounts?

Do you know if you truck was every lifted? I think I seen some ford trucks that run one shock behind and one a head on the opposite side but I could be wrong.

i noticed the same thing this afternoon actually when lookin under my truck
the left (driver side) shock mount bracket thats welded to the axle, is a much smaller one than the shock mount on the passenger side
my driver side shock mount bracket only has one bolt hole in it, behind the axle.
the passenger side shock mount has 2 bolt holes, one in the same position as the other, behind the axle, but another bolt hole in the bracket in front of the axle, its a much bigger bracket than the driver side bracket.. cant figure it out
ill have to take a picture of it, it doesnt make any sense
my truck is an 03 4x4 extended cab, axle is the 9.75" 3.55 ls

The top stock mounts are all there too

I just went and look at mine, I can run a shock up front on the right side and one behind the axle on the left side. but i run both shocks behind.

They may be sway bar mounts.
