Default seatbelts

Every time I unbuckle my seatbelt, I have to physically rewind it into the slot. It's very aggrevating. My '95 did the same thing. is there anything I can do, or do I have to take it into a dealer

Mine too. I researched it. There was some tech note on it with Teflon strips applied to the slot, but from what I could read about it on the forums, it helped very little. Though about replacing it with a new one, until I priced them. I suddenly didn't mind giving it a helping hand.

hardly ever use mine, but they have the same problem. but couldnt you just pop the bottom cover off and grease the parts? i dont know if theyre that easy to access, but if you could it seems like it might be worth a try..
