Hi all,
I'm new here and need some help on my 1999 Super cab. It has the 70/30 bench front seat that needs some serious help. I would put seat covers on it, but can't find anything to fit without paying big bucks for a custom set. I don't need show quality on a 15 year old truck, but I would like to move up from the current duct tape cover. I'm tired of going in WalMart with a piece of tape on my butt.

Is there a seat from a later model that will fit without major modification? All the '99 seats I find are in the same shape as mine. I really don't care what style seat, bucket or bench, just looking for something without the duct tape.

I did several searches on the forum for seats, replacement seats, bench seats, etc, and got the same results from each search and none had anything to do with seats. Maybe I'm too new for the search to work.

There are quite a few in salvage yards with nice seats in them. Check car-parts.com . I was just out at a local salvage yard here yesterday and there were 4 or 5 with perfect seats in them.

 

all the buckets from the expedition of the same generation will bolt up also, i threw some eddie bauer leather ones in my crew cab worked perfect, just had to tap a coulple holes.
