My 02 Screw Lariat has the driver side seat heater not working. Anyone had any problems with these and how technical is it to repair. The light on the side comes on but no heat.

 

just repaired my 02 with the same problem , not to hard of a fix but the difficulty is trying to get a replacement seat element . they are a discontinued part . there are a few around but you need to search . there is a very helpful video on youtube titled fixing a heated seat in a 2003 f- 350 . took me about 2 hours start to finish to remove seat , strip apart , r & r seat element and put back together .the part # for the seat element is 1l3z-140696-ab . nice to have it back in these cold Canadian winters , hope this helps , francis

 

A quick test is to unplug each element and just check for continuity to see if the elements have a open or not, that will at least give you a start
