Seafoam issue help!!
Reconnect the booster line to the booster, then get in the truck, mat the gas to the floor and crank it over holding the throttle wide open, it'll clear the Seafoam out of the intake and it'll start, it'll just take a few moments of cranking and once it fires, let off the gas pedal.
If it weren't for bad luck....geez, your not doin so well...wonder why the A/C compressor pulley would pack it in like that, this is a new one to me and I've been screwing with vehicles for the better part of 25 years...
The a/c clutch froze up and knocked the serpentine belt loose and ate it and blew chunks everywhere one of the idler arm pulleys caught the belt snapped the belt in half and snapped a pulley off and spit the belt and pulley out under the truck.
Ouch...this is definitely a new one here...How many miles on the truck ? I can convert to Kms but I've never seen an A/C clutch seize up on a start-up...usually while running they go and if it goes it's usually the freewheeling pulley then the assembly locks up thus driving the compressor as if it's on, very strange indeed Anyways, there are clutch kits one can get and press on and off, however if the entire thing won't spin by hand right now, it's a good bet the actual compressor has locked up. Can you even spin the clutch by hand ? You should be able to if the freewheel welded itself to the clutch, but it you can't spin that, well, I'd suspect the compressor but I'm thinking it was an idler pulley that gave out...
