If you bought new, its a one year warranty. Just gotta call SCT and set up a rma. Does the screen black out when using USB cord and when plugged into OBii port?

Yeah that's an easy fix for SCT. Just give em a call Monday and they can get it fixed. Was it stored in the direct sun? I've had a prior person that happened too once on the screen ( which SCT replaced ) but that had it stored on a shelf in garage right under a window which SCT said killed the screen over time in summer.
Ok Franchi... off topic but I had to find a thread with you in it (this looked like a winner). I currently have a superchips vivid linq tuner and want to switch to SCT w/o losing those functions and options. I found out SCT makes the TSX (or iTSX) for andriod but when I type in my vehicle info on the SCT website it doesn't populate that product as an option. I have a 12 FX4 ecoboost... available? Even if it doesn't have stock tunes I'd be ok because I'm wanting to get some unleashed tunes built. Let me know thanks.

The iTSX doesn't support the Ecoboost unfortunately. SCT says they will more then likely do an update sometime which will support it but I wouldn't hold your breathe as it will be a while if ever as anytime I've asked about it, it's been in the plans but no info on when being released and usually will tell us if at least in the next 6 months or so.
For the Ecoboost, SCT options are the Livewire TS #5015 or the SF3 #3015.
Now I'm not totally familiar with the Vivid Linq tuner but if it's just reading the parameters and not actually changing the tuning, you probably can use a SCT tuner and load the tune on the vehicle, and run the Vivid Ling to monitor capabilities long as the Vivid is just reading parameters and not going into the tuning itself. That's a pretty common setup in the diesel world where people will run a SCT tune on the vehicle and a Edge display and I believe a few of them have used the Vivid in same method.
