I work at Carquest and we are suppose to be able to order it. I would say a gallon would go pretty far, are you doing everything or just the frame and undercarriage?

I'm not joking.
Best way and free when changing oil. Oil resist water which prohibits contacts.

I would just do the undercarriage and frame if I did happen to get it. How much does a gallon run? Could I just paint it on without removing the frame, ect? I'm a perfectionist and minor things bother the **** out of me. I don't have any carquests around where I live, but if worse comes to worse I could always order it online. It may be awhile before I do it, I am currently unemployed. I got some paint that is supposed to cover rust and stop it from coming back, but I have no idea if that will actually stop the rust.

Online would be your cheapest, and its its like 120ish for 5 quarts. It all depends on your version of perfection. Id spray your axle with rustoleum black, and if your looking for a cheap undercoating that hardens up real good go buy the cheap spray on bed liner. Ive done 2 or 3 rusted out hitches like this and ive never seen em rust again.
