Default Running board ?

Running board ?-image-2785431358.jpg

So i want to remove my running boards on my king ranch. But I like the idea of the light that I'd on the running board itself.

So first off how do I remove the running board. Am I going to have worry about wires hanging down. And is there an after market light or something of that nature that I can attach after the running boards r gone

I did a similar thing to my old grand Cherokee. The boards are normally easy to take off. I just used the wires and installed very low powered led lights. Way brighter than the running boards! I know someone who tried to put fog lights for even more light but the circuit wouldn't support them.

It's your truck man, but I think it looks really sharp with the running boards on. Are you afraid you are gonna rip one off somewhere?

Take the light off and attach it to the bottom of the cab so it shines on the ground. You should be able to pull the wires up out of the way

Thanks everyone for input. I think I have decided to take them off and I am going to figure something out for a light. I saw a green KR on here that had them off and I liked it alot. Thanks again
