Default rubber plugs in bed?

2001 f 150 supercrew I'm about to run coax for cb radio I see there is rubber plugs between bed of trick and cab. Do these five me access to cab or just easy way to run wires under truck

Pull the moulding off the bottom of the driver door, lift the carpet up and you'll see a 1/2 rubber plug run your wires that way. Much easier

What is the one that is in the bed. Where does that give access to. Between bed and cab or actual access into cab.

Yes the front drivers door, trying to go through the vents in the back of the cab is pointless not to mention much more difficult
