Default Vent Shades

Vent Shades...in-channel or stick on? Anyone have either? Pros and Cons? Not sure about the stick ons but a little worried about wind noise with the in-channel ones.

I have them on my van and after 25yrs still look like new, never had a problem. They are the stick on.
I have seen other brands fade after 3 or 4 yrs.

I have the stick ons and love them. If the surface is prepped correctly they won't come off, I've heard of the in channels causing issues with the windshield not seating properly. I have them on my POS Chevy work truck and every time I roll the window down the in channel vent shade comes with it. And it causes the glass to pull away from the outer door trim allowing rain water into the door. Yikes!

I have some stick on ones I got from e-bay for like $20 and they have been on for over a year with no issues. I took a pair off that had been on the truck for over 10 years, and they were hard to get off (one of them was broken when I got the truck).

I did not think I liked them till I took the broken ones off the truck, and it just did not look right to me, so I got some more.
I like the look and in the summer I can leave my windows cracked open to let some heat out without worrying about the pop up shower getting my interior wet.
